of your questions on our web page! Hope you like it.

monitors. They also recycle fluorescent lights and recover
all gasses and oxides used in fluorescent light tubes and
compact fluorescent bulbs.
ReCompute Computers: they can accept some
computer donations but specialize is software repair and reselling
used computers and laptops at very affordable prices.
Home Resource: donate used building material
of all sorts. (Over 40% of total landfill is construction
waste)
Pacific Steel: washers, dryers and microwaves
can be dropped of during daylight hours; also old engine blocks,
transmissions and all scrap metals. (Refrigerators have to
be certified that all Freon has been removed by a licensed
appliance store then they can be dropped off.)
BFI-RecycleNow on West Broadway: drop off
site for all domestic recyclables except for glass. They pay
for some items like aluminum and copper.

and tree branches.
Cell phones: most cellular dealerships have
a recycle bin for old phones and batteries.
TreeCycle: complete the loop and buy recycled
paper products like office paper and notebooks.

tubs- $11.79 (with pre-drilled drainage holes)
HomeWORD is doing a clear glass drive over
the next few months, to have solid glass bricks made to replace
the old hollow glass pavers at the GoldDust Appartments. Each
glass brick will have a saying or memory about the North Side
etched into them, and they will be backlit at night.
Sustainable Business Council: Local businesses
supporting like-minded sustainable businesses. www.sustainablebusinesscouncil.org.
Thank you to everyone who recycles, reduces, and reuses.
In the long run it is really better for us humans to reuse
and recycle our resources. Lets keep the cycle alive.
As the Webster’s Dictionary defines it: “Recycling:
Using again and again and again." We hope to serve you
well and you are encouraged to call us anytime with comments,
questions, and suggestions.
We believe that curbside recycling, is the most environmental
way to recycle.
