MVR NEWSLETTER, SUMMER 2006

Recycling in the Schools
We have good news on our Recycling in the Schools program. We have raised about $4,000 and we are funding six schools so far. We thank our contributors that are funding entire schools :

Treecycle (where you can buy 100% recycled paper!)
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (funding Hellgate Elementary)
Rockin Rudys (funding Hellgate High)
John Thompson and Cathy Rodgers (funding Hellgate elementary)
Pacific Recycling (CS Porter Middle School)

The Independent has generously given us three ads to promote the program. We hope to raise money to fund five more schools that have asked for our help. Our website contains all the names of the donors (that do not wish to remain anonymous).
We welcome your help! Contribution forms can be downloaded on our website.

Reminders
If you’re taking a vacation during your pickup day, call us in advance and we can reschedule your pickup, or give you credit for not receiving service.

Remember to write your name on your containers. Sometimes they disappear. Summer is also a good time to hose them out if they need it.

PLEASE SEPARATE THESE RECYCLABLES
(a plea from Andy)
