FAQ's to MVR
How often do you pick up my recyclables?
For our residential customers, we come one time per month.
For commercial/business customers on a as need basis &
from every day to one time a month.
What is the cost for your service?
For residential customers our rates are 10 dollars per month. Commercial rates vary but start as
low as 15 dollars per pickup. Please call with questions.
How can I signup for your service?
Please call us at 543-2972 and give us your name, phone, and
address. We will call you with your scheduled pickup day,
and send you the necessary information.
What can I recycle with MVR?
Please refer to the sorting guidelines,
also on our website. We take most household recyclable items.
At this time we cannot take glass, plastic tubs, plastic trays or plastic bottle lids,
and wrapper products. If our driver leaves something in your
bins, then we can't recycle it.
How often do you bill?
We bill every quarter & Winter, spring, summer, and fall
quarters. We bill in advance so you will receive your invoice
at the beginning of each quarter.
How can I help make sure my check in credited to
my account?
Please write the invoice number of your current bill only
on the memo line of you check. Also we can only enter deposits
in the current billing cycle so please pay past due balances
with the same check.
What if I want to use "BILL-PAY ONLINE"
or a similar automated payment program from my bank?
Please use your phone number as your account number
and don't worry about adding the invoice number because they do
not have room for that on their form. Please use the phone
number on your bill because that phone number is your account
number. Please call the office if your phone number has changed and your next invoice will have your new number.
What if I forget my pick up day and need to reschedule
my pick up?
No problem. Give us a call and we will try to reschedule your
pick up within two weeks.
What if I am away on my Pickup day?
Please give us a call at least three business days in advance.
We will give you a credit for your unneeded pickup on your
next bill, or we may be able to reschedule your service for
another day.
Do you have a drop off center? What do you pay for
copper and other recyclables?
Not. We are a curbside service only. We do not accept drop-offs
or pay for any commodities.
Do you have any special rates?
Yes. You may save two dollars off our regular rates. We have
special rates for seniors, and Singles. We also have a buddy
system, which offers the reduced rate if your next-door neighbor
also recycles with MVR.
What kind of bins do you suggest?
Solid plastic 18-20 gallon bins with lids work best. They
are easy to lift, and you can separate items inside them with
plastic or paper bags.
Do you recycle electronics?
Nope. Just computer towers (cpu). We can't take the keyboards,
monitors, or printers.

What are the limitations to your service area?
We serve only the greater Missoula area. Customers with steep
roads may not be served due to bad weather or dangerous road
conditions in winter months. If this occurs our customers
will be rescheduled or receive a credit for the lost pick
up.
